  Cognitive Process Profiler

The Cognitive Process Profiler (CPP) is a new and revolutionary computer administered assessment tool and provides unparalleled information for the purposes of leadership development and the identification of potential.

Much more powerful than traditional ability testing, it assesses how leaders typically tackle unfamiliar problems, novel situations and cope with complexity. As well as identifying strengths and weaknesses in these key areas, the CPP provides an assessment of the individuals potential in terms of the most appropriate organisational level at which they can operate. This is reported on a scale of 1- 5, where "5" indicates a potential to lead in complex and ambiguous environments, to think strategically and over long time horizons (e.g. a CEO) and "1" indicates those more suited to operational roles, with less complexity and shorter time scales (e.g. an operational manager). Most usefully, the output indicates current performance and future potential. Thus an individual may currently be performing at a level 3 but show potential for a level 5 environment.
